DUBLIN, 4 June, 2025: Today Spanish Point Technologies launched its Smart Cost Optimisation Service, a new, fully managed offering for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

Leveraging Microsoft’s FinOps toolkit, the service is free of charge for Spanish Point Technologies’ Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) customers and helps ISVs monitor, analyse, and manage cloud costs across subscriptions and services. 

The service is part of the Smart AIM product suite—Spanish Point’s Azure DevOps accelerator providing pre-built libraries and framework services for efficient cloud migration and optimisation.

The Smart Cost Optimisation Service provides many benefits over using Cost Management exports. Benefits to ISVs include: 

• Reporting on cost and usage across multiple accounts and subscriptions in separate tenants. Running advanced analytical queries and reporting on year over year cost trends in seconds. Reporting on negotiated and commitment discount savings for EA billing accounts and MCA billing profiles.
• A complete view of costs across all subscriptions including the reserved instance cost and license costs.
• Full alignment with the FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification (FOCUS).
• The service is extensible via standard Data Factory and Power BI capabilities to integrate business or other providers cost data.
• The solution is managed and hosted by Spanish Point, free of charge for Spanish Point Technologies’ Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) customers.
