Company announces Smart AIM Azure DevOps accelerator now deployed across more than 60 software projects for over 30 organisations, helping reduce DevOps pipeline setup time from two months to two weeks
DUBLIN, 8 June, 2026: Spanish Point Technologies, the company that builds enterprise software and intelligent Microsoft-native platforms to modernise complex organisations at scale, has announced a strategic investment from Apiary Capital. The funding comes as Spanish Point Technologies recently celebrated 20 years in business and enters its next phase of international expansion and product-led growth.
The investment will support the continued development of Spanish Point Technologies’ portfolio of enterprise software products, AI-enabled cloud platforms and scalable Microsoft-native infrastructure solutions. Spanish Point Technologies currently operates across more than 13 countries, supporting leading organisations across the copyright, royalty distribution, membership, licensing and digital rights management sectors in Europe and North America.
Coinciding with the announcement, Spanish Point Technologies also revealed continued expansion and adoption of Smart AIM, its Azure DevOps accelerator, as the company increases its focus on scalable products and enterprise software IP. Since launching, Smart AIM has been deployed across more than 60 software projects for over 30 organisations across Ireland, the UK and Nordic regions, helping enterprise software teams reduce DevOps pipeline setup time from approximately two months to two weeks and contributing to a combined total of seven years saved in software time-to-market.
As part of the company’s next phase of growth, Co-Founder John Corley will continue as CEO, leading product innovation, platform strategy and international expansion. Daire Cunningham will continue leading the company’s digital transformation and enterprise delivery operations as Chief Operating Officer, focused on operational scale, customer delivery and long-term growth across the services side of the business.
John Corley, CEO and Co-Founder of Spanish Point Technologies, said: “Over the last 20 years we’ve built deep engineering capability, long-term customer relationships and platforms designed to solve highly complex operational problems at enterprise scale. The team at Apiary Capital has a strong track record of helping founder-led technology businesses accelerate growth and scale, making this partnership a strong strategic fit for Spanish Point. What excites us about this next stage is the opportunity to continue scaling our own products and intellectual property internationally while helping organisations modernise critical infrastructure in a much faster and more intelligent way.”
“We increasingly see enterprises looking for repeatable platforms, AI-enabled tooling and trusted infrastructure partners that can reduce operational complexity while accelerating delivery. Smart AIM is one example of how we are productising years of engineering and delivery experience into scalable platforms with measurable impact for customers.”
The company’s broader product portfolio also includes Matching Engine, a cloud-native enterprise platform underpinning global copyright infrastructure and supporting royalty distribution workflows for leading rights organisations including SOCAN, TONO, KODA and IMRO. Spanish Point Technologies recently announced the launch of a new AI module for Matching Engine, as organisations using the platform are expected to distribute more than €1.2 billion in royalties to over 500,000 creators and rightsholders worldwide this year.
The strategic investment comes amid growing global demand for enterprise platforms capable of helping organisations modernise legacy infrastructure, operationalise AI and scale digital transformation securely. As an Azure Expert Managed Services Provider, Spanish Point Technologies is recognised among the top 1% of Microsoft cloud partners globally. The company was also recently selected as one of only three UK&I partners authorised to deliver Microsoft’s AI Transformation Programme and named Microsoft Ireland AI Innovation Partner of the Year, reinforcing its position as a trusted enterprise partner for organisations navigating large-scale AI and cloud transformation.
Daire Cunningham, COO of Spanish Point Technologies, said: “Organisations are navigating a period of enormous technological change as AI begins reshaping how core systems, operations and workflows function at enterprise scale. Our focus is on continuing to provide customers with stability, operational certainty and trusted delivery capability as they modernise increasingly complex environments. That delivery foundation and long-term customer focus has been central to Spanish Point Technologies for the past two decades and will remain a core part of the company’s next phase of growth.”
The strategic investment marks a significant milestone in the continued evolution of Spanish Point Technologies as a globally focused enterprise engineering company, combining scalable products, intelligent Microsoft-native infrastructure and deep enterprise delivery expertise to support the next generation of AI-enabled digital transformation.
Thomas Alldred, Partner at Apiary Capital, said: “We are very excited to partner with John, Daire, and the team at Spanish Point Technologies as they continue their exceptional growth journey. They have built a compelling offering focused on solving the complex challenges faced by enterprises today, and Matching Engine and Smart AIM are strong examples of differentiated products underpinned by deep engineering expertise and long-standing customer relationships. We believe Spanish Point Technologies is well-positioned for continued success as businesses seek to modernise infrastructure and operationalise AI, and we look forward to supporting the team through this next phase of growth.”
